Marmora Rd, London SE22 0RY, UK – 020 8693 1626
Friendly, not busy and cheap membership by London standards. Although it's a 9 hole, it's a proper golf course with many holes needing a driver and mid to long iron to reach the green. Beyond that, it's quite nice that it's a nine hole, you can get round in an hour and a half and still have time for the rest of your life. The greenkeepers do a great job of keeping standards up on a relatively shoestring budget.
nice 9 hole course with brilliant views of London

It's been the best of all gyms I've been to so far. It's located in a quiet and clean area where there is no traffic hustle and bustle. The gym is wide with the latest equipments in the area.
Equipment needs some love and care, it is pretty warm but the resistance machines are all good and the free-weights area fairly large.

Great value, lots of new machines. The free weight area is usually a bit of a tip with weights strewn about randomly, despite The Gym's rule: "Replace equipment back onto the racks after you have finished with it." As is the case with all casual-use gyms, during busy hours you will have to contend with lots of men sitting on machines looking at their phones.
I've only just started going to this one over the last few weeks as I used to go fusion before but I much prefer going here. It's open 24hrs a day so you can go at whatever time it suits you. There's a lot of varied machines there from cadio to weights or you can book classes. When you 1st start you can book a trainer for 30 mins to introduce you to the machines (which is free of charge) or pay for a personal trainer. Because it's open 24hrs it's never packed and everybody just gets on with their own thing so if your conscious of the way your body looks nobody's necessarily watching you. There's also have showers available too of course.

I am very happy with Southwark Gymnastics Club. My daughter loves the coaches and directors who in my opinion are professional and patient with the children. The three venues are clean. They have a good array of gym equipments. They provide gymnastics sessions for children and adults and sessions for children with special needs. I am looking forward to attend adults evening gymnastics sessions and getting instructed by their coaches. ☆☆☆☆☆ I highly recommend this club based on the opinion that it isn't the first club my daughter attended over the past two years. Well done on the new venue!!!!
Fun and I love gymnastics too

Really nice little leisure centre, with some flaws. Pros: The gym is well equipped and I hardly ever needed to wait to use equipment. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is really nice - and fairly quiet first thing using the week. It’s all pretty clean, and there are water fountains as well. The changing rooms have free hairdryers, and a mix of cubicles and open changing. Cons: Changing rooms can get really humid which can make changing after a shower a bit sticky. Lockers - seem to be permanently occupied by some people. Would be good if this could be kept an eye on. There is hardly any time for adults to go Lane swimming at the weekends without classes, kids play etc.
Good CSA and facility. Recommended

Facilities are good, good range number and range of machines so I never had to wait to use anything ! The gym room is massive with separate room for weights. Very clean , as you can see staff always around cleaning the gym, lockers rooms , toilets! Staff are not exceptional but they do the job . Very hard to contact the centre over the phone though, as i called a few times but no one answered .
The place it's good and the council residents can access free to gym and swim (I only tried gym yet) Fridays and weekends, what it's perfect if you're a student or you have to work from Monday to Friday. It's clean, have good equipment, good toilets, baths, lockers... and a lovely lovely receptionist (I'm talking about the blond Portuguese, i think, receptionist). But there's another one who is rude, who I tried to ask something and she made a sound with her mouth (twice), no visual contact or put her eyes on white and a rude face. As a client we expect a smile a good treatment from stuff... But OK. I will say it's the lady with the veil cause I hope she change her attitude or something. But anyways, my experience was and still being good. I'm happy with this gym.

The place has changed over the years; it is a fully featured gym, with swimming pool and dedicated exercise rooms to hold a variety of sessions. A local council scheme operates here giving Southwark residents free access to the gym over weekends - you might want to try for an early session on those days. A recent experience restored my faith in the centre, during the hot summer of 2018: the pool was full and folk had to wait. People kept coming, relentlessly, to enquire about using the pool: the queue was long and there was just one person at the desk. My query was taking ages, people were got and bothered, the temperature seemed intolerable, yet the receptionist, heroicly, remained calm amd professional throughout (not without effort) as she dealt with me, the queue and her own discomfort: I was impressed. In my reviews, I often focus on the people who make business work, and here, this lady alone, made a difference. Dulwich Baths, as it used to be called, still retains some original Victorian features coupled with modern facilities. When you visit, timing is everything, choose wisely.
Really good gym if you want to do cardio or lighter weights. The weightlifting area however is always really busy and therefore there is generally quite a lot of competition for the squat rack and barbells. Overall thought it's a very bright space with friendly staff.

Nice sport centre. You can find everything there... pool, gym, tennis courts, squash and badminton courts, rooms for group activities... you can even rent spaces for parties! And prices are competitive with what's available in the area... definitely recommended a visit at least!
Love this place. Facilities for everyone, a lovely cafe and a friendly atmosphere
